Using a broad description physics is referred to as the science of Nature. To be more scientific, physicists research the properties and behaviour of matter in many ways.

Particle physics examine the sub-nuclear particles depicting from where all matter is created. Cosmology covers the material of the universe as a whole. So what does all of this mean for those of us who aren’t scientists?

100 Greatest Discoveries: Physics is one segment in a series of nine. Science guy, Bill Nye breaks down the nature of physics in this documentary. He reveals the 13 greatest discoveries in physics to date.

How exactly does this thing we call the universe really work? What holds it together? The answers to some of your biggest physics questions come to life on-screen in this Science Channel series.

Isaac Newton’s discovery of universal gravitation. His three formulas that were created to describe the movement of objects are just a preview of what’s included in this series.

Science has never been a big interest of mine, but 100 Greatest Discoveries is a series I consider both educational and interesting. So if you’re like me and are questioning if this is worth a watch, let me tell you it is.
