These concepts reinforce the world’s economy. The documentary traces finance from its very beginnings in Mesopotamia to the riches we familiarize it with today.

Ferguson presents the four-hour series by uncovering the many stories within our history that relate to and are heavily affected by money. The Ascent of Money showcases many important leaders in the financial industry. It also covers important figures in the marketing and banking field.
