Imagine our world in the near future? How does it look and what is it like? How has it been effected by the environmental issues surrounding us?Parts of the northern hemisphere have areas where the temperature gets so cold , it drops rapidly to -90 F. Keep in mind at a close 130 below, public transportation is unable to operate, as its systems fail. Anyone or anything for that matter who gets caught outside in such temperatures freezes to death. Structures collapse from the weight of snow and ice. We are left without power, does this make it easier to watch as society collapses and in its place rises anarchy.

Is it possible this will be our future?

In this 47-minute documentary, Naked Science explores what could cause our temperatures to plunge. They paint a not-so-pretty picture of what is would mean for us as a society. Global warming could very well be leading us into the next ice age. Without warning, we may find ourselves a part of a The Big Freeze, but will we survive?

Could we become an extinct species as the dinosaurs did so many years ago? Sit back, bundle up and watch as The Big Freeze unravels the potential for disaster
