Biggest Things in Space

What is the biggest thing in space? There is nothing on Earth that we can compare to the largest things known in space. So, how can we determine what is the biggest and how will we find it?
In this documentary, Biggest Things in Space we embark on a galactic adventure in search for the largest thing in space. During our travels we discover which planet is the largest. We uncover the largest, star cluster, star, constellation, volcano, galaxy, explosions, and many other mysteries, all on our quest to find the biggest thing in space.
The Lymann Alpha blob has been referred to a bubble like structure that contains countless galaxies. Could this be the largest object in the entire universe? With the discovery of radio-emitting gas called “radio lobes”, is it possible they could be even bigger? Continuing on our galactic adventure they uncover super-galaxies and super massive black holes.
Biggest Things in Space debuted during the second season of The Universe which aired on the History Channel. Covering various topics from the solar system and space exploration to astronomical objects. It includes extensive video footage, photographs and interviews with engineers, writer, scientists, advocates and many other experts.
