Over the years we’ve seen plenty of actors don the red and blue suit and played one of the greatest super heroes of all time — Superman.

This documentary presents the different incarnations of the well-loved and iconic character, which has spanned more six decades and have rolled out dozens of comic books, musicals and several movies and TV shows.

The film also talks about the transformation of the character, and provides different interviews with all of the actors that have, at one point, played the role.

In an effort to really find out the pros and cons, and at the same time discover if claims about its medicinal purposes are true, Doug Benson, a stand up comedian, takes a kick out of this experiment, by first avoiding the substance for 30 days and then taking pot straight for the following 30 days.

This documentary is, of course, inspired by Supersize Me, which is a documentary by Morgan Spurlock on the effects of eating only McDonald’s food for 30 days.

This National Geographic documentary is an exclusive look at the North Korean goverment, dubbed as one of the most secretive countries in the world.

Back when Kim Jong Il ruled this country (before his death in December of 2011), the North Korean army had the distinction of being the 5th largest army and is believed to have plutonium as its nuclear weapon.

North Korea’s military power is built on conformity, reclusiveness and exclusivity. There are some who have tried to escape its harsh conditions, often causing their lives.

The team from National Geographic was able to enter the premises of the North Korean army in one of the medical missions. This was a dangerous undertaking but the camera and crew were able to capture North Korea and produced this documentary for the world to see.
