The story of two people who was sued by fast food chain McDonald’s in what is called the longest trial in the history of UK.

The McDonald’s legal team was hired for £10 million to protect the company and its interest against defendants, gardener Helen Steel and postman Dave Morris. They used every legal trick in the book and for seven years, the case was tried and the company was heavily examined. Issues like animal cruelty, effects on children and environmental damage were brought up.

This documentary follows ten years of what this monumental trial is all about, which is actually of two people who refused to bow down to a corporate giant and exercised their freedom of speech.

This film was aired on ITV in the U.K. I’m impressed that it was broadcast in the main stream media over here, as it is a film centered around censorship and mis-representation of war reporting by the MSM. It shows that the access given to reporters in war zones is manipulated and controlled in such a way that they can not report the whole story. That probably wont be particularly surprising to any of you, but the extent to which they are restricted did surprise me.
