Guide To Happiness looks into how what these philosophers stipulate about man’s pursuit to a happy life. The documentary aims to show how differences of opinion, self-esteem and emotions affect human behavior and his reactions that lead him to achieve ultimate happiness.

The documentary is divided into six parts, that will hopefully give us ideas about what it truly means to be happy:

Socrates on Self-Confidence (Part 1)

Epicurus on Happiness (Part 2)

Seneca on Anger (Part 3)

Montaigne on Self-Esteem (Part 4)

Schopenhauer on Love (Part 5)

Nietzsche on Hardship (Part 6)

Sometimes, we do tend to romanticize many things in reality based on our expectations from television series. But make-believe, in the world of television, is miles apart and different from the realities of life and this film points out, through a mixture of footages, interviews and sketches.

Charlie Brooker successfully comes up with innovative and entertaining ways to present his thoughs, which wil have you laughing, as well as nodding your head as you can relate to his juxtapositions.

At the end of the day, there’s only so much our bodies can take: our teeth, our hearts, our organs, our bones and skin: they all decay.

But, what if we could escape our bodies? What if our brains could be taken out of our bodies? Would we still be ‘us’?

This scientific and philosophical documentary tries to answer these questions. Fascinating!

Rather than come at the religion from a purely religious perspective, BBC focuses on the hard science behind religion: in part 1, we focus on the language of science.
We found a remarkable series on Islam by the BBC. Rather than come at the religion from a purely religious perspective, BBC focuses on the hard science behind religion: in part 1, we focus on the language of science. This crisp and well researched documentary does a fantastic job of explaining an old religion to the British people – and, we’re along for the ride!
The bond that the trainers form with this lion is almost impossible to believe, but it is a well documented, famous true story. Their reunion with Christian the lion – in the wild, five years later – is the stuff of legend. To celebrate Christmas, I bring you: Christian the Lion!

We have been brought up to believe that the mind is located inside the head. But there are good reasons for thinking that this view is too limited. Recent experimental results show that people can influence others at a distance just by looking at them, even if they look from behind and if all sensory clues are eliminated. And people’s intentions can be detected by animals from miles away. The commonest kind of non-local interaction mental influence occurs in connection with telephone calls, where most people have had the experience of thinking of someone shortly before they ring. Controlled, randomized tests on telephone telepathy have given highly significant positive results.
