Cocaine Cowboys 2: Hustlin’ With The Godmother

If you enjoyed Cocaine Cowboys, then the sequel is going to thrill you. Taking us deep into the streets of Oakland, California in 1991 we meet cocaine dealer Charles Cosby. At the time he was living the American Dream making a couple thousand dollars per week, a nice living I would say. But all that was about to change.
Cosby, a fan of the “Cocaine Godmother” Griselda Blanco decided to write her a letter in prison. She was serving time in a nearby federal prison. Within six months of sending that letter, he went from making a couple thousand dollars a week to a multi-millionaire. Not only had he taken over running Blanco’s $40 million a year cocaine business, but they had also become lovers.
Blanco, was known as The Black Widow. She had the ability to get rid of her men permanently when they no longer had purpose or had betrayed her. As the black widow, she was determined to make sure Cosby remained faithful to her. This was a lesson her would learn the hard way. It was when Blanco approached him about a prison break involving the kidnapping of JFK Jr. that he realized he had bitten off way more than he could chew.
Will the black widow dispose of Cosby like she had so many others?
Enjoy this fascinating well-told story. If you haven’t seen the first in the series, watch the original Cocaine Cowboys first.
This is a follow up feature to the first Cocaine Cowboy release.
This time, the film centers on Charles Cosby, as it explores his young life in Oakland, California, to his association with the Cocaine Grandmother, Griselda Blanco, until his ascent to the cocaine business, to his eventual downfall.
