Ronnie is a creep and Lake is a leech.
Postmodernist/poststructuralists can't seem to root their rhetoric in reality. Their propositions rely on the self reaching the state of "enlightenment", presumably voluntarily, in order to reach the extent of civility. How can these philosophers assume that if someone adopts their ideology, she/he will necessarily reach the same conclusions as is suggested, and perform reality in some predictable manner?
I would love for the masses to be able to deconstruct categories and institutional boundaries, to recognize the fluidity and arbitrariness of society, but how do these theories help the raped women, starving children, sweat shop workers etc.? When will philosophy have the effect of benefiting the vulnerable or holding accountable the centralized powers?
Actually, these are not as addictive to adhd individuals as one would presume. Individuals do not experience the same effects from these medications as non-ADHD individuals. ADHD individuals are not stimulated by these stimulants but are instead in a state of increased focus as sensory stimuli seem to be coordinated instead of random thus reducing their effect of distractibility. There is no euphoria to motivate attraction to them and most ADHD do not like their side effects. Fortunately These drugs are also known as the holiday drugs as you can take them only when focus is absolutely essential to completing tasks.
Well, too bad then.
in short to help progress mankind.
i can look forward to the next generations having a better life than mine.
i do not need a god to have a purpose in life.
the people who wrote the costitution and bill of rights were against religion my friend.
bill maher has the right to ask questions to anyone he sees fit.he never once told any of these people they could not believe what they wanted.he simply asked questions they did not have answers for.he has the same rights as any "believer".
thats mighty judgemental.
you use terms like "more smarter" whilst calling people stupid.nice.
why are the religious i have come across so insecure that they cannot even be asked for clarification about their own religion?
why are the highest scorers on the mensa nonreligious?
why are the majority of the scientific community nonreligious?
how is it that the people who believe in parting the red sea,are calling the most intelligent people on the planet stupid?
Her feeling of inferiority is not exactly about her Asian look, I think its a buildup of bad experiences being/looking like Asian. She is not the cause of the problem, but the people around her is causing her to feel inferior. (so stop blaming the victim).
I know a lot of people want to escape from this inability to merge in the society, being Asian myself I do kinda understand how she feels. And frankly speaking, there are people in America who are really ignorant in their actions and inconsiderate about other's feelings.
If you watch the documentary "How racist are you?" here yo would understand attacks on people of different race is instantaneous and a lot of people do not get why its hurtful.
could've been cut down a little, some parts got boring, but overall this is a very good documentary.
err......van halen isn`t metal. Plenty of metal bands are atleast inspired by classical music interns of melody, baroque music used complementry melodys with instruments which is similar to the ways that guitars and bass is used in metal not to mention.
Anyway I like this particular documentry, but I don`t particularly like Sam Dunn, I think that his other Metal around the world documentry is poorly researched, especially when he speaks of things that you can tell he isn`t particularly knowledgable about such as `Visual Kei` (I love visual kei as I live in Japan) which he fails at getting a modern view about.
