Outfoxed examines how media empires, led by Rupert Murdoch's Fox News, have been running a "race to the bottom" in television news. This film provides an in-depth look at Fox News and the dangers of ever-enlarging corporations taking control of the publics right to know.

People who say other networks are just as bad don't actually watch other networks. No other network routinely uses tactics such as shouting down someone you disagree with, cutting off their mic and repeating lies after they have been debunked. You can watch any liberal leaning show and see how much more respectfully their guests are treated, whether they are disagreed with or not.

Also, the only people who depend on one network for the 'truth' are FNC watchers. Everyone else is very aware that every source will have varying degrees of bias and use multiple sources to determine what is fact.

"If you see something biased, give them a call and say you'll stop watching it", that's kinda hypocritical from a biased documentary. Should we give them a call?

I'm sure liberal networks aren't much better than Fox, but it's wrong nonetheless. The way Fox goes at it makes me sick, really. I haven't checked any other networks, but if they are doing the same, America is in some deep shit.

I think I watched this in a high school social studies class... and a college mass communications class. It really sort of throws open the shutter on Fox News, but yes, it is incredibly biased. It is a good documentary, though.

HA! CNN and any other news channel are any different. They are all pro liberal just like fox is conservative. I don't support either but I think this is the biggest amount of bull I have ever heard. Its sad that Democrats and Republicans have to attack each other like children. This "documentary" is just a attack video.

This "documentary" was as biased against the Conservatives as you are claiming that Fox is against the liberals. Yes there is clearly biased reporting going on at Fox BUT it is no different than the NBC, CBS and ABC reporters are doing with full support from the top folks in those networks. "Journalism" is nearly dead in ALL news groups not just Fox. Report those facts and details and you will have a more accurate documentary worth viewing.

This is an excellent doc and raises a series of interesting questions: Just imagine how very different American political discourse and foreign policy would be without the right wing propaganda of outfits like Fox. Perhaps in a media world inhabited exclusively by actual journalists, the center of the political landscape would be shifted significantly to the left. If the Republican Party and the right have to lie to gain even the rather marginal support that they now enjoy, what does this tell us about a)the character of the right, and b)the strength of their arguments? Incidentally, I've noticed that Fox News, in addition to being journalistically corrupt, is fanatically pro-Israeli.

Fair and balanced? R. Moody is the top of a controlled "news" environment. If you can call it that, news turned into commentary, supporting right winged ideas. It is crucial that news be reported on facts, so people have the truth, not distorted opinions to sway the masses to their idealogy. It appears that Fox News is a talk show host network, not a news network. Bill O'Reily being at the top of his game on that network, he has no respect for arguments against his own. In a democratic society, it is imperative that people know the facts, Fox News can continue to be right winged, but need to not falsely represent that they are fair and balanced. They seem to stifle real issues to which R. Moody does not support.
