We are entering a world shrouded with mystery, where nothing is as it first might seem. It is a sacred world where a game is being played. The year 750 AD. We do not know the rules, or how many played, but this is no ordinary contest. They played this game for their lives. More than a thousand years ago, the men who played, and the crowds who watched would all vanish, leaving the arena and all their magnificent cities empty. Today only mysteries of the mayans remain. What were the people of Maya doing, and where did they go?

Great doc!! But, is it possible that the drinks they took to get really drunk were not fermented drinks, but ayuhasca instead? Because the typical symptoms of the ingestion of such substance are in fact throwing up a lot. And it is said that the shamans in central and south américa use its intoxicating properties to connect with their spiritual world and achieve knowledge. Its just a guess...
Cheers

space bunny. did you actually take a look at that comment, or assume that it would be so Mayan? i am not trying to be mocking. just look at the actual science, and research the long count calendar. although i admit, with the state of the planet nothing would surprise me anymore.
