I had found his biography (not sure if it was an autobiography) a while back at my local library for me to read during my vacations... in case of rain.
reply | permalinkI cant remember the title though, but it was in French and translated from German.
He also left tons of hand written notes and letters which many are also very interesting reads btw.
Anyhow, there must not be very much biography's on Einstein dating back to pre 1980 if not older.
Sorry I can't be of better help.
Good luck

Jack,
reply | permalinkJust curious - is there a particular biography you read on Einstein? I'd be interested in reading through it, rather than digging through random internet pages.

Yes, it is disgusting in regards to the man's memory. He wasn't a theist and had some words for those that are. I suggest you read his biography.
reply | permalinkHis declaration that "God doesn't play dice" is a metaphor to make his point, nothing more!

Einstein was a Jew so it shouldn't be so much of a surprise that he was a theist.

That's what bothered me as well... a little less religiousness in there wouldn't have hurt.

I totally agree. Had seen part of a while back and didn't care to see the rest despite I'm an Einstein fan.

Constant references to "god". Disgusting. This video falsely represents Einstein as a filthy theist. Couldn't even finish it.
