Death By Design

Start Watching Death By Design
Death by design is a documentary that takes a closer look at the way our cells work and is an excellent introduction to cell biology.
It’s counter-intuitive that there’s all this waste, that you would produce millions of animals so that only a few thousand would survive. Or you’d produce billions of spermatozoa so that only one will fertilize the egg. In the same way the fact that you produce so many cells during development that die and never serve a useful function in the animal. It’s counter-intuitive that there’d be this waste but it turns out that over and over again biologists have learned that this is how biology works.

personally, think its because we dont understand why …so we call it waste. Actually, in some decades to come we just find out something. I mean what if all this and the probabilities of some surviving over others determines some future event. like millions of sperm cells racing but only one get to it, what if the another did, would it be the child look same as the from the first cell, it is actually not a waste … i think there is a much more better explanation, and we just dont have an explanation yet.
