To most of us, sleepwalking is a mystery. What happens when we are in this sleeping state? What are we capable of doing without knowing it? While walking to the refrigerator for a glass of milk may seem harmless, what if we did something much worse?Would it really be possible for someone to commit the heinous crime of murder while sleepwalking? With only a zoned-out sleepwalker and a dead victim remaining at the scene of crime, it is difficult for one to know for sure. Will the use of extensive sleep tests performed on sleepwalkers accused of murder reveal the truth? Will they uncover that committing a murder in your sleep could be a frightening reality? If it does it would definitely make me think twice whose house I want to sleep at.

Referred to as Somnabulism (sleepwalking), over 15% of America’s total population apparently suffer from it. What causes this unique disorder? It can be anything from suffering from a mental illness to feeling restless. People have been documented doing the following while sleepwalking eating, singing and even the unthinkable, murder.

Extreme Sleepwalking takes viewers as deep into the Sleepwalking disorder as possible. They examine this peculiar disorder making you think twice about who’s sleeping next to you.
