Five Ways To Save The World

Climate change is something that is being across the world. It’s no secret that if global warming isn’t stopped the effects to our world as we know it could be catastrophic. With that in mind, several engineers, experts and scientists are presenting some pretty large-scale and radical ideas that could potentially save our planet from disaster. The down-side to these ideas is that the side effects remain unknown, but we may soon have no other choice but to try them.
Five Ways to Save the World presents some of these radical ideas that have been proposed. The first three being to reduce the power of the sun, hoping the result would end in cooling the planet. Roger Angel, a professor from Arizona suggests putting an enormous glass sunshade in space, hoping to deflect a percentage of the sun’s rays back into space. This is one idea to hopefully reduce the sun’s powerful rays.
Another issue to be tackled the excessive amount of carbon dioxide. Ian Jones, a Sydney engineer professors suggests feeding plankton with gallons of fertilizer, making it grow and absorb the the carbon dioxide from the air. Meanwhile, Professor Klaus Lackner from New York has created a machine to capture carbon dioxide.
This informative documentary offers Five Ways to Save the World, but what if we’re already too late?
