As a tool to observe space, Hubble is one of the most effective scientific projects created and used to date. This is true in both immediate public appeal, as well as scientific output. It continues to have a powerful impact by utilizing an extraordinary scientific niche in which no other scientific instruments have been able to compete. Hubble, as you will see in this documentary continuously delivers clean, uncontaminated spectra over the whole near-infrared and ultraviolet regions while offering super-sharp images.Hubble has opened many new scientific territories and as a result has been the reason behind many paradigm-breaking discoveries. This ESA anniversary DVD, Hubble – 15 Years of Discovery examines all details of the Hubble Space Telescope project. Viewers are taken on a galactic adventure throughout the history and early troubled life of Hubble. We’re shown a inside look of it’s many successes.

The film was directed by Lars Lindberg Christensen and features an abundance of previously unpublished footage. Footage that is of superb quality. Over 500,000 copies of this film has been distributed and after watching it, you will understand why it is possibly the most widely available science documentary in history. Celebrate Hubble and its many discoveries by watching this fascinating documentary.

Awesome music! I really enjoyed the singing. Give this documentary a try, it is also very informing about other things than just Hubble.

Very entertaining and informative. It was mostly about what the Hubble telescope has allowed scientists to discover, with a side of general astronomy. Most of the people who made it were from the ESA (European Space Agency).
