Great docu! just not great visual quality…. Karate is a philosophy of human endurance… In ancient practice, a defense for tyranny and hostile takeover. Presently a discipline of pure endurance of mind and body… Any explanantion of the arts should intrigugue every ambitious mind.

AH I was grief-stricken with the performance by Bill Duffman! No offense to the show, because it was informative of Okinawan history as it revolves around karate. However, such a reckless act as competion against a champion utilizing only a brief range of unrefined martial skill…The end result was a disasterious display of mercy strokes and loss of control. Forgive my perspective as I am inclined to harbor due respect for Masaaki Shimajiri, as he ate one to the jaw with surprising finesse might I add. Perhaps I was just looking for more out of Bill, or cynically more out Shimajiri as i felt he was holding back 80% of the fight. Good information. Moderately embarassing conclusion.
