      What do you think it was like to live during the medieval times? The BBC takes viewers on an interesting adventure inside the Medieval Mind in this compelling documentary. Professor Robert Bartlett of St. Andrew’s University is one of the world’s greatest authorities on the Middle Ages and he leads the way for us in the film.

      The film is divided into four sections Knowledge, Sex, Belief, and Power. During the first part, Bartlett examines how the world was understood by the medieval man. Although the world had been written by God, it became to be mastered and even exploited as the Middle Ages grew.

      The second part of Inside the Medieval Mind, Sex uncovers the fascinating proof the complicated passions of medieval men and women. This was the era in which the thought of romance was developed. This was despite the Church preaching hatred of the flesh and promoting the cult of virginity.

      Viewers are next taken to the world of their belief where the dead share their space with the living. Encounters with the dead and beliefs of the next world were considered to be two-way traffic between this world and the next. Lastly, Bartlett examines Power. This is an intriguing documentary for anyone interested in this era.

      Interesting… Darksunshine666, I hope you can define Reality : that would be extremly useful for all them Quantum physicist, philosophers, believers of "whatevers" etc.

      Does Infinity exist? How about Eternity? If Time and Dimensions are Relative to any Observer, can that make them unreal to any "one" observer?

      It's an aging debate, but, no one can affirm God(s) exist or not. It's nothing that can be proven or unproven by any known means :
      It's a "believe or not" case.

      What are you "trying to prove" with that "666" at the end of your nickname? ;-)

      It truly amazes me as to how the human race STILL, and with an over whelming amount,,, Still believes in their Invisible Sky Buddy. Amazing how people with this Faith, don’t allow Facts to fade their delusion. The only thing Created is your Myth.

      Well, If you could dip yourself a little bit in psychology, you might realize how intensely anguish many are, you have part of the answer.

      The other part would be how we try to manage that much insecurity, simply by seeking comfort in any way.

      But then, you also realize insecure people don't go that far out to seek comforting, all they have to do is turn within and talk to a mental image of a "self" which bring them all the comforting they need, since that this "projected being" can only tell what their real self wants to hear to be reassured.

      Simply put : "Mirror neurones" in action.

      Ha ha, yes, I completely agree! This is fascinating and well made, but The Devil's Bible was pretty laughable.

      The first five minutes were good, but requires veoh player to watch the full thing.
