Inside the Mind of Adolf Hitler
At the peak of World War II, our future was still in limbo and understanding the evil enemy seemed of great importance at the time. The Americans had attempted to foretell how it would end by going deep inside the mind of one of the people who could make the decision, Adolf Hitler. For decades the confidential psychological profile created by the American secret service has been locked away, until now when viewers are taken Inside the Mind of Adolf Hitler.
The psychological profile was developed in 1943 by a group of Harvard psychologists. By meeting with his former colleagues and his former doctor who had fled to United States, they combined Freudian techniques and theories to determine how they thought he would react to certain situations. By the end of their work, they had concluded this man of great evil would not surrender and instead there would be a good chance he would commit suicide when he was faces with defeat. They weren’t far off with their predictions and this method would later be used to profile many great world leaders and dictators.
This documentary is an interesting look at psychological profiling. It takes us into a man’s mind that is mysterious. A man of great evil, a man who murdered thousands. It takes us Inside the Mind of Adolf Hitler.
