This is Part 3 of Stephen Hawking’s new ground-breaking, mind-blowing new series that takes viewers on a space travel adventure like never before. Into the Universe: The Story of Everything reveals mystery surrounding cosmos to a new generation. In this part of the series Hawking will reveal how the universe came to be what it is today. He will examine how it creates monstrous black holes, life and stars. Hawking also reveals how it will all to come an end, but how?

The other two parts of the series are just as interesting, so I recommend you give them a watch when you can. Hawking combines imagination with science to investigate one of the most significant space mysteries, are there Aliens existing on other planets within our galaxy? He examines whether future there is a likelihood for future contact with this mysterious species. What do they look like and how will they impact our society?

Time Travel is the other intriguing part of the Into the Universe series. It has been something science has been trying to create for years. The big screen has brought Time Travel to life on several occasions with hit movies like Back to the Future.

All parts of this ground-breaking series are fascinating to watch.

good documentary ,, but the sound track is terible it make me sick…..

I could not finish looking at the documentary…… sound track to repetitife.

      plus could be done shorter.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the soundtrack. Anyway, very good documentary, this series is one of my all time favorites.

This was a fascinating documentary. I personally feel as Stephen Hawkins says; we should move from beyond are planet and eventually… galaxy.
What a monumental thing to think about. Unfortunately that involves us not being so self centered as a species. A great shift in consciousness! We humans are self centered by nature and even knowing this, I still find it hard not to be.

There is one thing I don’t understand. If the universe is expanding and actually accellerating in every direction, and space itself is spreading, ( the raisins-in-a-rising-loaf-of-bread image is often used to describe galaxies in this expansion,) how can the Andromeda galaxy be approaching us and be blue-shifted?

    • Jack Kebek

      Hello
In the doc, the say “distant galaxies”.
Galaxies are most often arranged in clusters, and if 2 galaxies in a cluster are close enough, they will attract each other and hence be “blue shifted”.
Yes, the Milky Way and Andromeda will eventually collide/merge.

I loved the documentary, very well done.

8 planets, ummm….i pretty sure their is 9. Don’t try a be shmuck and say Pluto isn’t a planet, because it is, if Pluto isn’t neither is Jupiter, Neptune or Saturn, their all just balls of gas.

    • jeff-skunk

the fact that pluto is about the size of a large chair, has a very erratic orbit and shares said orbit with about 50 similarly chair sized objects has a large impact on its downgrading… comparing it with jupiter is up there with moon landing conspiracy theories.

    • Johnny

No, there’s nine. And Pluto doesn’t qualify. Jupiter, Neptune AND Saturn all qualify, saying they’re not just because of their make-up is preposterous!

And even with your thinking that Pluto would be one, in that case there would be 11!

    • Johnny

8 even, sorry. Gosh I’m so tired!

    • Johnny

For the first number that is, the eight does not replace the 11, just the nine.

After watching this documentry it gave me that feeling of being very small in the
general sceme of things but it did confirme what i already thought about that is were just the right distance from the sun not to freeze to death and not so close that we burn up and this is my opinion there is no supream being who said let there be anything and the right things were here for life to evolve and so it did. what we do
need is more from mr hawking’s it made me think and look forward to the next offering from him.
