whats the film at 0:43? I think I saw something like that in 1985 when I was in kindergarten, about a sand guy walking around doing stuff or something.

This was a great find! I had been trying to find “The Cat Came Back” since I had originally seen it on a weekend short film marathon on my local PBS station in the late 80′s!
I tracked it down through YouTube after I finished watching this documentary. Now I can finally show my friends this great short cartoon after so many years!
Thanks for airing this documentary and reminding me of the great shorts of this type I had enjoyed years ago. I wish they would bring back the all-weekend short film marathons again. Great entertainment!
