As the debate surrounding the end of our planet as we know it heats up, so does the possibility of finding another planet in which we could survive on. Could Mars be the habitual planet scientists have been searching for?

In this documentary, Living on Mars the possibility of making it a possibility is examined. Mars’ surface appears to be a freeze-dried world of ice, rocks and dust, not the most welcoming. However the recent discoveries show the minerals and rocks uncovered on this mysterious planet indicate at one time it must have had a warmer more habitable living condition.

With the use of photo-realistic CGI visualizations, Living on Mars creates a science fiction dream of life on Mars. It showcases a world of rivers, tree and blue skies, quite similar to that of our planet, Earth. This fascinating imagery brings the red planet to life after three and a half billion years of being in a deep freeze state.

Living on Mars examines the steps that would have to be taken in order to make the red planet a place in which we could live. The first and foremost important step would be to warm up the freezing planet. Explore the possibility of life on the red planet in this compelling documentary, Living on Mars.

nice to see some new docs, love this site.
just started out watching this one and already have a couple of things to kind of pick at; He says we’ll warm Mars the ‘old fashioned way with global warming’ ,
as far as I’m aware Mars doesn’t have a viable atmosphere, atleast not one anywhere near the prominence of ours, taking that into account how do they expect to trap gases without a thick atmosphere or ozone?
Also, I don’t care what anyone says or think the whole ‘global warming’ thing is far from a settled or understood thing, I don’t think there’s any way this method is going to work.

Glad to see docs are back. Mars doesn’t have the electromagnetic field which is necessary to keep harmful solar waves out. This problem alone is enough to destroy life on any planet.
