Lost Cities Of The Ancients

What could cause a society to build a mass amount of pyramids and then suddenly vanish? Lost Cities of the Ancients explores a strange world as viewers are taken deep inside the Lambeyeque valley in Northern Peru. We’re taken to a mysterious lost world and what is uncovered during our travels will surprise you.
This lost world, as you will see in the film holds the ruins of 250 mysterious pyramids, inclusive of some of the largest on the planet. Massive structures constructed of mud bricks are uncovered during this ground breaking voyage into the Lost Cities of the Ancients.
The Lambeyeque people occupied this lost city long ago and were haunted by a horrifying fear. The believed that constructing these monstrous pyramids were crucial for their survival. Their fixation with this mysterious belief reached its peaks with a city called Tucume.
Tucume is a sinister place consisting of 26 pyramids, each standing side-by-side. These buildings were the last built by the Lambeyeque people before they vanished forever. But what happened to this society, how did they suddenly vanish?
Lost Cities of the Ancients catches an epic moment when archaeologists discover a mass of bodies of human sacrifice. Could these bodies possibly reveal what happened to the Lambeyeque people?
