Some 50 million miles away from the Earth lies Mars, our neighbor in the universe. The ancient people have named this planet the “star of death” and believed that its reddish grandeur was threatening, making it impossible to inhabit.

But as explorations to this planet in recent years have made it possible for scientists to capture images and even study surface samples, the possibility of life in Mars is something that has heightened mankind’s interest. It’s been discovered that Mars used to be a wet and warm planet, just like the earth.

Is Mars a planet ready to accomodate our human colonies? What makes up Mars that will have scientists convinced it is possible for life to exists there? Why should we even go to Mars?

This documentary is a guide to the Red Planet. The details are presented by Dr. Kevin Fong,  an expert on space medicine.  Dr. Fong will help us explore the planet by delving on its history, topography and composition, as well as the current data culled by NASA.

Watch and learn if life on Earth is comparable to a future life on Mars.

Aw, bummer. I've never had trouble with a video until now. I don't even see an empty box and I've read the FAQ twice, anyone else having this trouble?

before billions of years there is water and life on mars .. because in that time sun has relesing more heat than now .. and because of that the temperature in mars is more like on earth in that time… when the sun lost that much energy life dissapeared in mars and earth got the ideal temp. for liquid water and atmosphere for life.. may be in future there will be life on venus …

The sun is actually getting hotter so I wouldn't suggest any long term investments in Venusian real estate. ;-)
