Residents in remote part of Africa have a lot to contend with. And on a daily basis, they are witnesses (collateral damage, in fact), to the destruction of termites, which has been rendering some of them homeless, with their homes devastated and their crops unworthy for eating or selling. The plague has reached intolerable heights. In order to stop the devastation and wipe away a culture, this tribe seeks help in an unlikely army of ants.

The Jaglavak  or the Dorylus are known safari ants or killer ants whose greatest enemies are the termites. These ants have powerful jaws, but they are also capable of stinging their enemy. The African tribe relies on these killer ants for other necessities, as well. The ants are used as surgical staples when their elders perform operations to the wounded.

These ants are big, rounded and deadly. But will the tribes that rely on them eventually have to contend with ant infestation? How are these people able to handle ants when they need them the most?

This documentary takes a closer look to how ants and people work well together, in order to crush a common enemy.
