What if dinosaurs were alive today? What if the dinosaurs did not get annihilated by the meteorite’s impact? How would we regard this or take care of this? Would their existence be like a Flinstones scenario where dinosaurs can become pets? Would we be able to hunt and farm if they are around? What would the world be like with them?

The experts say that had they lived, there will be no chance for mammals to evolve and be what they are as we know it today. What does this mean then? Would humans be where they are right now if they were living among dinosaurs?

“My Pet Dinosaur” is an exploration into a world that existed million years ago. It’s something paleontologists would like to get into, a change to see what the world would be like with dinosaurs still inhabiting it.

It’s a presentation of a different kind of reality, one that may look surreal, but very possible, had the meteorites missed our world.

This looked like it might be a pretty entertaining if fluffy documentary, but alas, it starts talking about dinosaurs evolving to look like humans. It is ridiculous (do not be fooled by their sample of ONE scientist whose credentials we do not know). Originally I thought this would turn out to be something similar to that documentary about what would happen if all people disappeared suddenly, with its cool special effects, but no. What little animation this documentary contains could definitely be better. All in all, not worth watching and misleading about evolution.
