Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla is credited for his contribution on electricity and his work on the development of modern alternating current or the AC supply. A mechanical engineer and electrical engineer, he is known as the Father of Modern Technological Age and this documentary presents many of his work, including the ones that have already been forgotten as attributed to him for centuries. Some of these inventions include the flourescent light, wireless communication, remote control and robotics.
He and Thomas Edison were considered adversaries. Edison was developing the DC electric supply, while Tesla had his AC, which at that time, was considered too revolutionary by the leaders of the world.
He was such a prolific inventor, having had 700 patents attributed to his, worldwide. With his ideas and foresight, Tesla was able to see that in the future, communication would involve satellites and much of how we are enjoying it today.
This Serbian-American’s work is, in fact, where wireless technology we are now taking advantage of, is used as the framework.
This documentary is a look into the life of the inventor.
