I have recently become interested in marathon training in my quest to run a full marathon. So, I’ve started reading up on marathon literature and decided: “there must be a good marathon documentary out there.”

Easier said than done.

It took some searching, but I’ve unearthed Nova’s full-length feature: Marathon. Marathon is a fantastic documentary and the best marathon documentary that I know about. The marathon centeres on BOSTON, USA where every year 1000s of runners come from around the world. Boston has one of the most famous marathons in the world.   It is 26 grueling miles of street. To train, people join support groups, the gym, personal trainers, keep diaries, and make promises to their children.

It is the most physically challenging event of their lives. This documentary will fill you to the brim with respect for these determined soles.
