Ross Kemp: Battle For The Amazon Part 2

Ross Kemp, the British TV personality, goes to the key areas of the Amazon in Brazil and Ecuador, and filmed the different agricultural practices of the locals like soya bean farming and cattle farming. He also explores the lush forest to talk about deforestation that is happening in this part of the world.
The actor, author and journalist notes the different pressures faced by Brazil and Ecuador in both the socio-economic and environmental development of these regions.
He says that this documentary will show first-hand how man’s greed can be to the destruction of the environment. He already saw the same scenario while filming another documentary in Nigeria the previous years, and it’s the same thing for the Amazon.
Kemp says that he is not an environmentalist, but the damages we have done to the earth is causing such a devastation, it’s even interfering with the world’s temperature and climate.
Will the rainforest persist inspite of our depletion of its resources? Kemp hopes that his exploration will convince us to change our ways and help sustain the earth.
This documentary is presented in two parts.
