Released in 2008, Michael Moore embarks on 42 day adventure across America. His purpose is to remove George W. Bush from office. While on his tour across the US, he visits 62 cities, but is unable to unseat Bush from office.

What he does accomplish though, is still of great significance. Moore manages to bring more young adults to the polls than have gone since 18-year olds were given the right to vote. This youth vote was the only age group in which John Kerry was able to win over.

Back in 2004 during a press conference Moore bragged that his films were the “anti-propaganda”. He added it was saddening that people had to fork out eight or nine dollars to see his films in the theatre Moore argued people should be able to gain the information from the comfort of their own homes. For the release of this film, he allowed just that. The film was made available for free online viewing across North America. It is a re-edited version of Captain Mike Across America.

The film received mixed reviews as many of Michael Moore’s controversial films do. There are either the people that love him or hate him, where do you stand?

What really upsets me is how God is used for politics in United States, but it's interesting how Moore commented on that. "What would Jesus bomb" is now one of my favourite quotes.

I find it embarrassing to have been born in an age when countries are run based on something that should have nothing (in my opinion) to do with politics.

And I am still waiting for a good president
