Stonehenge

Stonehenge, it is by far one the most intriguing mysteries of our time. Who built this phenomena? Why was it created? Does it hold a rich significance, in which we are unaware? These questions, as well as many others surround this unique mystery.
Located on the Salisbury Plain in Southern England Stonehenge has been often linked with the Druids. Present in England more than 2000 years ago, the Druids were a group of wise men, but could they have really been behind this mystery? Underneath the stones several artifacts, inclusive of carbon dating back to at least 4000 years ago and antler horns reveal a much different story. Bodies have been discovered close to Stonehenge dating just as far back, ruling these wise men out from the equation.
An anthropologist from the University of East London thinks he has finally come up the answers surrounding this mysterious wonder of the world, but could these new theories be right? Stonehenge takes viewers on an exploration with leading scientists as they examine the many of the new cutting-edge theories and put forth their best attempt at cracking this age-old mystery.
The National Geographic takes viewers on this journey to the United Kingdom to examine a modern look of the ancient ruins.
