The Age Of Aids

This documentary was presented in observance of the 25th anniversary of the first AIDS diagnosis. This is an exposition into the disease the world has regarded as the worst pandemic to ever emerge, and has been comparable to the Black Plague that has killed almost a third of Europe’s entire population in the early century.
According to records worldwide, there are already over 30 million deaths related to this killer and that in a few years that number would have increased and doubled.
But how far have we come in our battle against AIDS?
This film looks into the different science studies and research in our hope to find that one cure. It deals with the moral dilemmas and the political stand as AIDS has become a huge issue of concern for many. It also touches on those that have been affected by the disease, as they cope and manage…and hope for a cure.
Done in detail, “The Age of Aids” presents a most comprehensive detail of the history of AIDS, the facts and facets of the disease and what we have been doing to address this.
