The Boy Who Sees Without Eyes

Ben may look and behave just like any other teenager. Except that this young man wears fake eyes worth $4,600. Like many people with disability, Ben, who has been blind since three years old, has learned to live and cope in the world, using technology.
A crucial operation as a toddler meant that Ben would have to have his eyes removed by the doctors so he will live. His eye has been affected by cancer. But inspite this limitations, Ben is able to experience the world as if he had an eyesight. He is able to play ball and ride the bicycle. He is able to use a specialized computer to write down lyrics to his raps or write a book and do his schoolwork. He is able to teach himself to “see” by using his other senses.
This documentary is an inspiring story of a young boy who is determined to live without restrictions. This film follows Ben in his day to day activities, which will no doubt leave the viewers amazed by his attitude and view of life.
A moving documentary about Ben Underwood, who is without the gift of sight, but is able to move around and navigate like any human being. His extraordinary feat is something that can be admired and commended. He sets as an inspiration to anyone who seeks to overcome their limitations.
