      Neuroplasticity is an interesting study on the nervous system. It deals with the analysis of its and the neural process in connection with the other parts of the body.

      Neuroplasticity is a branch of medicine that also involves understanding how the cells in our brain changes, which influences our capacity to learn, absorb information or retain information in memory. Learning how the brain can recover from damage is also part of this study.

      This video is a presentation featuring Dr Norman Doidge. He is also the author of the book with the same title “The Brain That Changes Itself”. This video was taken during an event in Melbourne.

      The discovery of neuroplasticity, that our thoughts can change the structure and function of our brains, even into old age, is the most important breakthrough in our understanding of the brain in four hundred years. Dr. Norman Doidge introduces principles we can all use to overcome brain limitations and explores the profound brain implications of the changing brain in an immensely moving book that will permanently alter the way we look at human possibility and human nature.

      The first lecturer was a tad dry (maybe because of his decision not to use figurative language), and the young woman seemed a little nervous; but it's a fantastic topic and there was some really good info.

      I would be interested in watching a documentary that expands on this topic (or at least something where the dull bits are chopped out).

      This wasn’t very informative and the speakers were horrible. If you want to watch an interesting video that’s related to this but much more informative, YouTube “Where Mind Meets Matter” by Bruce Lipton. If you watch it all, just try to understand as much as you can. It may change your life.

      I found some of the information quiet interesting. I have a personal interest how this could be applied to children with Autism as my beautiful 5 year old daughter was diagnosed 2 years ago. I will continue my hunt for information.

      I have a couple of questions to all believers (and non believers alike), these questions are by no means trying to offend anyone of faith, just sort of personal survey :-)

      1. What do you remember after you fall asleep and just before you wake up, dreaming aside?

      2. What happen if you never wake up? (This is probably a silly question I just had to add it to emphasize question 1)
