The Michael Jackson Story

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, was one of the most enigmatic performers in our lifetime.
This documentary is a closer look at his beginnings, his rise to the top with his strings of hits, the impact he has with the people and his eventual downfall, as told by the very people close to him — his siblings and the people that he has worked with.
Michael Jackson was a controversial artist who was exposed to the spotlight early as sensational child star. He was a professional success before reaching puberty. But the price of his fame robbed him off a childhood he never got to enjoy. As an adult, Michael was child-like in many ways, perhaps to compensate for that which he has never experienced.
In the 80′s Michael’s fame soared and he became the King of Pop. With a string of hits under his name, he was one of the world’s most sellable artist. But he also had a lot of hang-ups and insecurities.
This documentary is a biographical approach to the life of Michael Jackson, with Flex Alexander portraying his character. This was aired in 2004 on television and was done perhaps as a way for people to understand the struggles of the King.
