The Moon

Before the 70′s, the moon used to be a source of mystery and wonder for mankind. We have had space missions (the Apollo) done in order for man to reach and study the moon. We had a few successful moon landings, which has been credited as one of man’s greatest achievements.
But what happened after this? Man seems to have fallen out of love with the Moon. Space missions are no longer placing this as its destination and we’ve been set to discover other moons from other planets.
Are we really done with the study of it? Do we know everything there is to know about The Moon?
This documentary is an account of how man first found the moon with fascination and setting forth several moon missions. It briefly tackles the different failures and success we’ve had in trying to reach the moon, and highlights the discoveries man has made when we did land there. It also tackles the different missions scientists are currently putting their focus, leaving the moon cold and dark as the day when man first landed on it.
