What a load of crap. You can’t call this “science”. Go learn about the scientific method! I can’t watch this anymore… my brain is hurting with o much stupidity.

No scientest worth their salt belives they have all the answers. Good scientest simply follow the evidence. All of the claims made in this doc are unsubstantiated by any kind of stringent scientific methodology but rather have been refuted by the evidence that suggests otherwise.

i just think that we are confined to the measurements we have. im sure in the future we will have a completely different perspective on everything. i didnt mean to insist that everything this this documentary is saying is true because frankly, a lot of it is BS, but i like that fact that there are people researching things outside the norm. without these people we don’t an alternative way of thinking. thats all i meant.

“Science” is the application of a method to build a body of knowledge by means of observing of the physical world, formulating hypothesis to explain those observations, and testing how well these same hypothesis can predict future observations. If the predictions fit the observations, then the hypothesis gains more strength wrt other hypotheses ; if not it looses strength. Eventually, the strongest hypotheses becomes a Theory, which is the one that best fits the observations.

When more precise measurement instruments because available, then the accepted Theory may need to change in order to explain the new observation.
This is how science builds up knowledge on top of previous knowledge.

There is a feedback loop that minimizes the error between the predictions (tests) vs the observations. This is well known by all engineers. Kalman filters make use of this same Bayesian estimation principle. (For god sake a Bayes was a priest from the 18th century!)

All the world around us works based on these same principles. Nature is self-organizing because of that fundamental feedback loop, that spawns from the differential effects of cause and effect in dynamic systems. Science is a simple application of that same principle.

So anyone that talks about “conspiracy” simply has no idea what they are talking about. They are completely ignorant about what the term “science” means.

So, I would say that science is actually a “Kalman filter for knowledge” that weakens hypothesis that don’t fit the evidence.

I think you and GiveMeABreak are total Neanderthals. First of all, other than the retarded Charlton Heston, I have no idea where the lunatics from the ‘documentary’ came from. It’s easy to say “people have banned me from the scientific community because my ideas go against modern theories”, when they are obviously not heard because they are completely mad and of lower itellectual capabillities. Is it sane to date a site because 2 stones where aligned whith the Sun on both solstices? Where is the observer? Because if he moves back and forth the angle changes. Why would the crust move with respect to the sun when ice accumulates? After all the gravity pulls to the center of the earth, and not downwards from a 3rd party view as the image wrongfully puts it. And humans with dinosaurs because the size of the footprint and de distance between it matches our average as a species??!! Also, if Tiahuanaco was built at least 12,000 years ago and the crust moved, would the rocks in the piramid still be aligned with the solstices? Anyone with the least intelligence would see this is the work of an idiot, and therefore would not even tolerate it. This is wat keeps people inmersed in stupidity.
Regarding GiveMeABreak, what does conspiracy have to do with all the bullshit you said? Let me remind you that theories against phlogisto were considered conspiracy and nonsense, and so did non whole numbers by respected Mathematician Kronecker, the relativity theory in its birth by many in the scientific community and the Geocentric by most people in the middle ages. Even Einstein did not consider as valid the theory of quantum mechanics, so don’t preach about “So anyone that talks about “conspiracy” simply has no idea what they are talking about. If you want to see a documentary that is an eye opener regarding the conflict between evolution and intelligent design, check out ‘expelled, no intelligence allowed’. Evolution and intelligent design co-exist simultaneously, and the same dogma that Galileo faced from the church is now happening to astronomers, microbiologists, neurosurgeons who are losing their jobs because the evidence of intelligent design is as undesputable as is evolution. ‘Expelled’ would be a nice documentary to see on this website as a reasonable expression compared to the mysteries of the origin of man.

Good. I love alternative theories. We need to keep in mind that most of what we learn are only theories. We should look at all the evidence and adjust our theories accordingly. The greatest scientific discoveries are the ones that turn the accepted knowledge upsideways. The world being flat, Earth being the center of the universe. As these theories become more solid, more people should question and try to disprove them. When we’ve ruled out ALL other possibilities, ALL possibilities, only then can we accept something as fact. If our measurements of time are accurate, and these artifacts legitimate, then we have some work to do. That’s when it’s fun.
