David Attenborough presents this BBC documentary on “The Private Life of Plants” in order to study its life throughly.

The series deals the basics we know of plants — how they grow or reproduce, which is normally something we have learned in middle school. But it also digs deeper into the plants movements and survival, as well as the study of its life-cycle.

The series makes use of time-lapse sequence in order to illustrate the cycle well. Viewers will be in awe at the complexity of it, as we aren’t aware of these cycles occuring right before our very eyes.

The documentary makes use of traditional ways in telling a story, in that with only the time lapse sequence, no other computer animation is used. The series also tackles on fungi and its effect on plants.

The Private Life of Plants is presented in five parts and was first aired in 1995.

That was one of the best documentaries I've seen here yet. The cinematography was awesome.

I've never seen sweeping camera movements in time lapse photography.
