For over decades, scientists have studied how our brain functions. They have already uncovered how it performs, especially when it comes to handling stress. When we work hard or party hard, our stress factors are heightened depleting our body of its proper functioning. Stress has been attributed to illnesses and in most cases, it also affects how our brain works.

Food, sleep and rest are constantly well-emphasized in order to lower our stress levesl and for a culture and lifestyle that thrives of stress, this couldn’t be more important.

Our brain has been hard-wired to respond to stress. We feel the physical effects immediately, it is as if the brain is telling us that there are threats around. We feel are muscle getting tensed, our blood pressure increasing or our hands sweating. Scientists also say that the brain has a way for channeling our body to calm down when over stressed.

This documentary provides more insights as to how the body and brain work together to deal with stress, in the hopes of understanding our bodies well enough to consciously take care of it.

I've tested the illimitux add-on for Firefox and it didn't work. Sorry for that. It seems the only solution right now is to install their web player. I rarely post Veoh videos, but some documentaries are really worth the trouble imo.

I'll replace the video if I find some other source.
