The Sun And Other Stars

This documentary presents how the sun and the stars have evolved over a billion years ago and explains the different types of stars, including the ones we see in our own sky. Did you know that there are different types of stars? And did you know that the stars also have its own lifecycle?
The Sun is also considered the biggest star and its the biggest light and energy source in our solar system. It’s a lot closer to the Earth than we realize, whereas the other stars are actually farther.
Some stars are bigger than how they appear in the sky. But they look so small compared to the sun, because of their distance. Like the sun, the stars are also hot and gaseous. And like human beings, stars are born and go through mid-life, then eventually die in old age. These lifecycle takes millions, sometimes billions of years, that’s why we do not notice all these changes.
Scientists believe that the star is at its brightest during middle-age, as its hydrogen power is at its prime. Eventually though, this power will run out and that’s when they experience their deaths. The Sun is believed to be at that point in middle age and will be lighting the earth for five billion more years.
