“The Yes Men” is a mockumentary that follows two pranksters who also sees themselves as social activists who try to tell the truth and expose real life problems by impersonating the very people or executives that they hate.

In this documentary, these pranksters led by Jacques Servin and Igor Vamos impersonate executives who are part of the World Trade Organization. They actually grant real interviews and attend business conferences, not only in the United States, but all over the world and they attend this while in character.

Two of its members, Mike and Andy, decide to one day set up a website that looks exactly the the World Trade Organization and the response was tremendous.

The group, as you must know, is actually opposed to this organization and to stand as their “representatives” is like a mockery of the highest level.

Andy and Mike appear to the media wearing their best thrift-store business suit and talks to their audience as if they really know what they are doing as executives. However, they take jabs at highlighting the worst of the organization, and in this case, it puts forth the issue of free trade in the global scale.

This is NOT interesting. It is a documentary about naughty children doing naughty things and thinking they are cool. It is rubbish. Any idiot with a camera could do this stuff and any idiot could trade on peoples reluctance to be rude and take advantage of them. Michele Moore does the same stuff except he makes no effort to be accurate. It's only funny to idiots.

Worth watching. Just proves what I have always known. Nobody really listens to what is being said. Clever guys pity they are known now and can't continue with this line. Thanks Guys

Did anyone else notice they never make a coherent argument for their point or a supportive statement for whatever their platform is? It is completely unclear what their point is or what they think is a better course of action. I watched this movie with hope of understanding the WTO protestors, but was met with the same "were smart, you're wrong" inexplicable rhetoric. Having watched the whole thing, I remain unclear on what exactly The Yes Men or WTO protestors in general are arguing for, only what they are against. Further, I doubt they understand even that. They are representative of the altogether sophomoric nature of this side of the debate.

Excellent documentary… Hope it will help some right winger to look into their own ugly mirror… Thanks for sharing :)

The WTO is free trade? Regulations are free trade? There's something very ass-backwards about that.

An awesome documentary…very amusing and very enlightening. For the poster who can't see the argument…it's pretty obvious? The WTO supports MNC's and business at the expense of people, existence and real lives (of the people in developing countries).
The documentary shows how apathetic those people at the business talks have become and how depressing the situation is…
      All while making me smile.

A great documentary – reccomended to everyone.
