This is a three part documentary that has Dr. Michio Kaku, a well-known physicist and futurist exploring our past and future.

According to Dr. Kaku, we are still in a point of transition from discovery to mastery. He stipulates that our roles as observers in the past will now give us more responsibilities as its “choreographer” as we shall act to change the world.

The first part of the documentary has the doctor discussing artificial intelligence as we use it in the workplace and in our lifestyle. In the future, he says, we may be dealing with robots that are just as intelligent as humans, as we are starting to master how to make use of the intelligence of machines.

The second part of this documentary is about genetics and biotechnology, as man attempts to find cures for life-long and life-threatening diseases. In the future, he says, it may be so easy to repair the body, as if this is like a car and spare parts for it become readily available. Ultimately, what this means is that we can probably learn to slow down the aging process, and even death.

The last part of this documentary is about quantum revolution, where he says that we may come to be able to re-arrange molecules in every matter. He also discusses the impact of all of these revolutionary changes in the way we live.

Part 1 – The Intelligence Revolution:

Part 2 – The Biotech Revolution:

Part 3 – The Quantum Revolution:

That was pretty awesome. It's hard to comprehend what will be normal 50 years from now but I guess what we see as normal in the present day was only a vision 50 years ago. Just amazing!

Wow…unbelievable. Just imagine the possibilities we could achieve with these technilogical advances.

If we make it we've got an amazing future ahead of us…

You said "If we make it we've got an amazing future ahead of us…" and I like to add that we will if religious bigotry and the commercial rape of the Earth can be brought under control.

I've said it to myself in the mirror, but I'll say again for those who did not hear me…

Some of you are afraid of machines, robots, cyborges… taking over in the future…lifeless… souless… loveless…

My dear digital Watson… they are already here!

Perhaps you should look at your own reflection more often!
