What is Nano?

In the last few decades, the word ‘nano’ has become a familiar part of the world’s vocabulary. It’s a word that we often hear in pop culture. It’s mentioned in some movies or TV show or we get to read about in the magazines. The ‘nano’ speaks of our future, one filled with possibilities.
But what exactly is it? And why are some naysayers still not quite sold on nano and nano technology? What is nano’s impact on the world around us?
Nano technology is described as a way for scientists to work with the smallest particles of the world — molecules. And this is what the documentary will try to explore.
How is science making use of nano technology?
This documentary, made through the European Commission, this will give us a peak as to what scientists, engineers and developers are doing with the help of nano technology. Infrastructure, equipment, the manufacturing sector, the engineering sector…these are just some of the industries making use of nano today. And it’s not just with products and advancements, Nano is a whole new science experts, engineers and researchers are still discovering and learning from.
