      Horizon uncovers the secret world of our dreams. In a series of cutting-edge experiments and personal stories, we go in search of the science behind this most enduring mystery and ask: where do dreams come from? Do they have meaning? And ultimately, why do we dream?

      What the film reveals is that much of what we thought we knew no longer stands true. Dreams are not simply wild imaginings but play a significant part in all our lives as they have an impact on our memories, the ability to learn, and our mental health. Most surprisingly, we find nightmares, too, are beneficial and may even explain the survival of our species.

      This documentary digs deeper into our dreams and explores the science behind it.

      Has it happened to anyone else that the video takes forever to load? I haven't been able to resume my watching because it takes hours just to load 15-20 minutes.

      umm worked 100% fine for me …loaded straight away and played threw with no problems…i did download a video player earlyer today called veoh… maybe that helped ? i love lucid dreams !!! only 4% of people in the world can do it damn i feel special :)

      If your interested in the world of dreams…psychology, mental health, learning processes and behaviour then this is a must see!
      I was only aware of Freud's theory of the importance of dreams…science and psychology has come so far!
      I sure will enjoy going to bed tonight and exploring my dreams!!

      Looking at the previous comments, I have to say it worked fine for me….had to buffer itself a couple of times..be patient and it comes back on after a few seconds…if not just skip it a few seconds and it works again!! Hope that helps!!

      When MegaVideo does that just reload it with a proxy server, then once you’ve had the proxy on for about a minute and you’re past the part where it would block you, just switch back to your regular proxy settings. That’s what I do.

      Very nice documentary! I am of the impression that most mainstream scientists debunk dreams as meaningless shit, but this was a very nice documentary that took on the importance of dreams more and didn’t debunk anything. Definitely recommended.

      There was no information about prophetic dreams. I had dreams which came true long time after i had the dream about it. eg. i had a dream about my husband before even meeting him and several other dreams which came true.
      I know of people who had also prophetic dreams. How would you explain prophetic dreams??
