cracking down on gangs with laws and police will never work. the only thing that will eliminate gangs is educating the young in susceptible communities, showing them love, and giving them other options.

Best Way to deal with these lowlife thugs ia not to buy into the whole "lets give them love" or "lets give them something else to do' bullcrap. Why do you think the USA is so plagued with this kind of crap right now, because of the tenderness we give to these people when dealing with their crimes and lifestyle. We need to move more towards other countries and their way of dealing with lowlifes and that is when we catch you, we put and end to your crime….permanently! a .45 shell costs a lot less than even one month in jail and has a much more permanet solution to the problem. I could kill every gangbanger, dope dealer, child molestor, woman rapers, etc in this country for much less, and their crime sprees would end forever, than the government is forced to spend on just 100 of these scumbags yearly imprisonment and court cost for a year. You want a solution, I just gave you the damn solution!

theren are all kinds of ways to try,but you probably would not like mine, but its proven.send all to a comunist nation and see how long the would stand them, it's against the wall M.F and it's finio, I don't think castro is going to give them love, also why not give poor countrys like bangaladesh or hati work, make prisons there and pay them to take care of them, they like weight lifting and library, and good food,they will be treated there as thy treat their own, or worse.

Words of wisdom.

I'm afraid this problem will not subside any time soon. In this day and age, our time is consumed by mostly work and our lives are prioritised accordingly. We tend to forget there are more important things in life and i think herein lies the seed which these gangs evolve. Parenting is the key. A sense of community and love cannot be destroyed by these gangs. We must not judge these gangsters for as a society it is all of our responsibility to ensure the relationships which are forged in our lifetime are long lasting and are well worth fighting for.

Contrary to what some people think, talking to gang members and trying to get them to think straight and ditch that lifestyle does work. I have seen this work and I do not believe they are a total loss. They can be helped and changed if you let them see what damage they do to their families with the violence. Sometimes they need to have the blinders taken off of them to get them to understand. It’s not an easy task, but it works.

On another thought, if you have been a victim of gang related violence for no reason, you’ll tend to hate gangs and want them removed by whatever means necessary. Think about how a dog will learn to hate it’s owner if the owner continually beats it. It will associate seeing the owner with pain and fear. No animal will put up with that forever. It will come to the point where the animal gets tired of getting beaten and it will act accordingly and viciously attack the owner to stop the pain and beating.

People are the same way, like it or not. If you continually get beat up, raped, and robbed by a gang, you’ll want to kill them the next time you see them so they’ll stop victimizing you. If someone you care about, or yourself, have been a victim of gang related violence, I would imagine trying to talk with them to pursue rehabilitation would be very far down on your “To-Do” list. Most humans aren’t that forgiving.

…and you cannot single out only the U.S. armed forces in talks about them being like a gang. Every armed force is guilty. It’s the nature of having power and resources to do basically whatever the heck you want to the weaker folks. Atrocities happen on every side of a conflict, so don’t just pigeon hole one group.

There is a reason The Higher Powers (whatever you think a God figure is that makes you comfortable) need to hit the reset button and start over. They (or she or he) surely can’t be pleased with how the human race has turned out. Collectively we have failed….ALL of us.

THESE PEOPLE GET N GANGS BECAUSE THEY WANT TO B GANGSTA AND LOOKING TO FIT IN..
