Barbarians

They were feared, they were dreaded. They were known as bloodthirsty warriors who followed no rules and were terrorizing people. They were called Barbarians. What did they do to earn such a reputation? Why is their name synonymous with cruelty?
This documentary digs deeper into the warriors’ way of life, and the history attached to their reputation, in a series of re-enactments, and as scholars and experts have described.

I love this series! Some of the interviews are a little painful to watch, but the info is fresh and interesting. I also like the Francis Pryor series' "Britain BC" & "Britain AD," you know, if you happen to find these ;-)
Great series! There are so many "educated" people to reeducate now. Folks hold tight to those old Roman "facts". Everyone should watch this, And yes, history does repeat itself.
Wow 5/5.
I wonder if Terry Jones has read Tacitus. What comes across as maybe an anti-Roman bias I see as being an enlightened view on what they called Barbarians. I have watched this series many times and greatly enjoy it and his other documentaries. Easily gets a 5/5 from me.
awesome!
