A very tragic situation between these countries. I don't understand using children for their cause, children are too young to truly understand what they are getting into. It is glorified by the militants, making the children feeling their special if they die. This is a war that will not end for at least 100 years. It is a sad existence for these people. I can only hope that the younger generations get tired of war.

    2. Ron says:

Spend 1 hour in Gaza and you will understand why they would use children. It is a coward's way, but for them, sadly, the only way. Notice, rocks vs tanks… what else would you like them to use? laser guided rockets? night vision? they have but home made bombs, rifles, and rocks

    3. Aaron says:

A sad and beautiful film. I see that much of the coverage of the recent Israeli incursion into Gaza avoided engaging the massive suffering of Palestinian civilians. I am shocked to read and hear so many bloodthirsty positions. Also going almost totally unmentioned in recent coverage is the religious extremism of many Israelis and their politicians which is carefully hidden away, but fully equivalent to the opinions voiced by the Palestinian children in this film. While these Palestinian children call the Israelis dogs and donkeys, many Israelis feel that thier historic destiny is to live in a Greater Israel encompassing virtually all of Lebanon and portions of the surrounding arab states which does much to explain their lack of success in peacemaking. It takes two superstitious and delusional adversaries to fight such a hideous and prolonged struggle.
