Excellent documentary
From that field trip to ames research center I took as a 5th grader in 1968 I witness the computer shrink from the size of 100,000 square ft warehouse to the size of a Iphone which has more processing power then that huge computer at ames( thanks to robert noyce, jack kilby and gordon moore and many other great engineers) then witnessing in mountain view the launch of netscape and the internet.Seeing the explosive growth of yahoo, google,my space, facebook and many others. I feel empowered personally by this technology and forever grateful to those engineers and pioneers for giving me freedom at last! The internet has truly freed all of us from the bounds of "gravity". We have only begun our journey and we are only limited by our own imaginations and creativity.
Great doco here, very inspiring and i cannot wait to see what the future holds, power to the average man!
Good Documentary but I hate how much the host has to move when he is talking.
veoh simply sucks.
Great documentary!!
I really enjoyed the documentary and like the fact that the internet has a business model. With an ever changing reliance on the internet as an information source, commerce source, and general leisure time source more and more people are expanding their knowledge into creating something of their own. Whether it's a site about music, sports, movies, etc… there are advertising contracts for almost type of information you are able to present. The idea that the average person could become an enterprenuer over night as a result of devloping a internet business model allows us to fill the gap for those who may lack the necessary skills to take the average business idea to the next level. At the same time this leaves an opening for those with internet experience to research business model development and harness the potential of the World Wide Web to its fullest extent.
music keeps dippin out of tune
