A good film, but no "eureka" moment for me. We know the ancient mathmeticians/philosphers were exceptionally advanced in their thoughts and theories. This is merely another example of the church's consumate evil -the suppression and oppression of logical thought that continues even today.

The only difference between the persecution of Galeleo and the angry diatribes against Darwin – or the current attempts to teach Creationism as science, is the degree of political power possessed by the church.

I denounce religion on many levels. Not the least of which being that they have yet to sufficiently apologize for burning the Library of Alexandria. And I'm not sure any absolution is possible for that atrocity against humanity. It certainly will never be found in a steadfast dogmatism that, still to this day, reviles independant thought for no other reason than the patriarchs didn't include it in their Book

very interesting subject matter, but incredibly long winded presentation. not only do they state the obvious, they repeat it over and over again to the point that you begin to wonder if they'll ever get to the point. this is basically a 10 minute documentary stretched out to an hour – much the way mathematics is taught in schools. mathematical concepts can only be understood as wholes. but they are invariably dissected, diconnected and obscured in the process of conforming them to the format of a semester long course, rendering them so boring and pedantic that most people can't maintain any interest.
